Some things to think about when trying to create/make a character.

That there is no mention of how to go about cannon characters. That is because cannon anime characters were not actually used until 2008/2009. Via they are not looked upon as being traditional or original characters. For those who don’t know what a cannon character is its someone who uses a character already in existence such as a character from a movie or in this case from an anime. This presentation or booklet of information whatever you wish to call it, is for traditional original roleplay characters. Using already copywritten characters is not something one, such as myself encourages. The pro’s about it that one may see is you don’t have to think about your character all that much. Everything is already laid out for you. Well the con about this is you can only rp according to what has already been written for this character. You are considered a Cannon Roleplayer if you take even the slightest bit of information already provided for this character therefore you will be viewed as such and be required to follow the guidelines and storyline already writing out for that character. There have been many cases where someone has taken the name of a cannon character and the picture the abilities and tried to add there own information into the mix. That causes confusion that’s not roleplay and its copywrite infringement you can be taken to court for such matters. This type of display is not considered ethical and if you come across someone like this you should not roleplay with them tell them that what they are doing ISNT CONSIDERED AN ETHICAL FORM OF ROLEPLAY. Now I didn’t say you couldn’t create a character in the world for example if you are a naruto fan and like the basis of how the world is set up you can create a character your own character to fit in one of the clans and has the clan jutsu’s as well as your own, you see because your only taking the world your not taking an actual character. But this is just my opinion some may say that you cant even do that but ^^ im trying to cut you all who aren’t as creative some slack mkay.
